The OSCAR network is committed to promoting our sector whenever we can.  There are 1600 OSCAR Programmes in New Zealand employing approximately  8000 children’s workers who look after 80,000 children EACH DAY.  We are vitally important to the wellbeing of these children and their families, and the New Zealand economy.

Part of our role is to curate and disseminate up to the minute information relevant to our sector.  You may already receive our weekly enews.  With our revamped website we have included a MEMBER’S ONLY section that is full of important information members may access.  If there is something you require that isn’t there just us to find out for you.

There is a lot of traffic on our website on the find a programme map.  Ensure your programme is there so that caregivers can access you at the press of a button.

It can be expensive adverting for staff but not on our free (to members) Situations Vacant page.
